AREA FORUM/WARD GRANTS
Matter for Consideration:
To consider applications under the Area Forum/Ward Grants Schemes.
Information:
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £20,000 to each Ward and the Area Forums have been awarded budgets equivalent to £7,500 per ward covered for the financial year 2013/2014. The funding for either scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillors Callow and Mrs Callow of Norbreck Ward have requested £127.68 as a donation to the Neighbourhood Watch scheme in Norbreck Ward for crime prevention security marking equipment and window stickers to be distributed to residents in the area.

Councillors Jackson and Owen of Victoria Ward have requested £500 as funding for repairs to the bus shelter at the corner of Central Drive and Queen Victoria Road to provide protection from the weather.
